MEETINGS

•Pesaro Nuoto Team, sponsored by the Municipality of Pesaro and the Province of Pesaro and Urbino and with permission of the FIN, organizes the 16th Trofeo Internazionale Città di Rossini - Memorial G. Marrollo.
• The event will be held on 17-18-19 June 2011 and it will take place in the long pool "O. Berti", Parco della Pace, via Redipuglia 34/36, Pesaro, outdoor pool 50m, 8 lanes, heated water; indoor swimming pool 25m, available for warm up also during the races. Fully automatic timing by Italian Timekeepers Federation.
• The races are reserved for registered athletes F.I.N. for the current year, males and females, belonging to the following groups: Open Group (Men born 1992 + old and Women born 1994 + old), Group EJC (Women born 1995/1996 and Men born 1993/1994), Group EYOF (Women born 1997/1998 and Men born 1995/1996/1997) and Group Youngsters I (Women born 1999/2000 and Men born 1998/1999). Each Team can register an unlimited number of athletes; each athlete belonging to the Youngsters I Group can participate to a maximum of four races; each athlete belonging to the Absolute, Junior and Youth Groups can participate to six races.
• For Youngsters I Group (Male 1998/1999 – Female 1999/2000) are scheduled the following races: 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley.
• For the others categories (Absolute, Junior and Youth) are scheduled the following races: 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 breastroke, 50 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 200 individual medley.
• For all the races of the event the start's signal of the race will be unique. Starts will be given with the athletes of the previous race still in the water.
• The 8 fastest swimmers of the 50m and 100m races in each group will be qualified to the corresponding final heats. In case of cancellation of the final, two possible reserves swimmers will be nominated.
• The races of 200m freestyle and individual meadly will be swimmed in series and the heats will be decided by the registration times without considering the age group. The 8 swimmers with fastest registration times, for each group, will be present to the heat which be held in the evening.
• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the program and close registrations in advance (overall or race by race), according to pre-set maximum number, in view of the timetable for each session of competition. Any changes made will be communicated to the Teams in advance.
Prize-giving Team and Individual Competitions The 16th Trofeo Internazionale Città di Rossini will be awarded to the Team which has earned the highest total score, determined to allocate the individual points will be: 9 to the winner, 7 in second place, 6 in third place, and so to follow in succession of a point to eighth ranked. In the case of a tie score, it will be preferred the Team with the largest number of individual victories and, subsequently, with top winners.
The competition is covered by rules and regulations of the Italian Swimming Federation. For matters not covered by this Regulation, apply the current FINA rules.
Prizes to the top ten ranked Teams (the first runner-up will be awarded City of Rossini Trophy). Prize-giving individual competition will be awarded with medals, the top three athletes in each race, Open Group, Group EJC. The Group EYOF and Youngsters I will be awared by year of birth.
Just for the Group EYOF, the male athletes will be awarded and divided into two groups: 1995-96 and 1997, with final rankings and distinct race. Special prizes for the best technical performance. Cash prizes for the first three Teams' Coaches.

Registrations Registrations can be filled in on the excel form downloadable from www.pesaronuoto.it and sent by e-mail to the following address: iscrizioni@pesaronuoto.it within Sunday 05 June 2011, accompanied by an entry fee of €. 6.00 per athlete-race. Registrations without the entry fee for the race will not be accepted.
